Kickboxing: Lower Body Strength
Click to expand and see all workout move descriptionsEquipment: Optional (light weighted objects, boxing gloves, wrist/ankle weights)
Format: Perform 3 rounds of circuit as directed for suggested reps/time. Then perform the finishing combo.
We’ll be going through the sequence below, so follow along with the video for all of my instructions and form cues.
Circuit:
- Alternating side punch (1:00)
- Round kicks (0:30 each side)
- Shuffle to inside kick (1:00)
- Alternating prisoner squat to shin kick (1:00)
- Duck, jab, cross / duck, knee strike /duck, jab, cross, knee strike (0:30 each side)
Combo: Duck, jab, cross, rear knee strike, shuffle, lead side kick (1:00 each side)
